 It happens more often than any of us want to believe. Each year, over 3 million American children are reported as abused... physically attacked, emotionally damaged, sexually molested, or severely neglected - often by the people they have loved and trusted most. Many of these children are removed from their abusive homes by Social Services. However, removing the emotional scars from a child is a much more difficult task. Your help can make a difference! You can help give abused and neglected children a foundation of happy memories that could forever change their lives. Bob White’s Karate Studio (BWKS) is proud to host an Annual Youth Karate Tournament each year to help make those changes. All net proceeds from these events will be donated to benefit the Royal Family Kids’ Camp of Newport Mesa. For over 25 years the RFKC has provided a free week of summer camp for children, ages 7 to 11, who have come from group homes and foster homes in Southern California. Every year, through the generosity of our sponsors, competitors and volunteers, BWKS is proud to support RFKC with thousands of dollars in donations from the event. These donations allow additional kids to attend the annual summer camp.
