MISSION STATEMENT
“To be in service to the youth of our community and assure that as many children as possible have
the opportunity to experience the unconditional love provided by the Royal Family Kids’ Camp”

Message from Bob and Barbara White

This year’s Bob and Barbara White event will truly be something very special. As always, the Bob and Barabara White Invitational, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, supports the Royal Family Kids, an organization that helps abused and neglected children.

Friday, March 23rd:
It will be a great weekend starting off Friday night March 23rd at SeaCliff Country Club in Huntington Beach, CA. The banquet will start at 6:00 with a meet and greet with dinner at 7:00. We will have entertainment with Dean Martin imitator Phil Solis performing and a demo team from Eddie Downey’s Celbridge Kenpo Karate Academy, from Celbridge, Ireland. We will also have a Silent and Live Auction.

Saturday, March 24th
Saturday we will have seminars all day long at our studio, BWKS 1125 Victoria Suite b, Costa Mesa, CA.

The seminars will be broken into 3 groups, white-green, brown+black, and a special children’s class at 12:00. The children’s class will be taught by a wonderful team of teachers from Ireland that includes Richard Burgess, Derek Newsome, Keith Page, and Robbie Cuffe. These gentlemen are great instructors and we are very proud to have them at our school.

The adult seminars presenters are some of the finest teachers in the world that include, Benny “The Jet” Urquidez, Graham Lelliott, John Sepulveda, Eddie Downey, Ron Sanchez, Paul Dye, Tom Bleecker, Chuck Sullivan, Marty Zaninovich, Jim McClure, David Brock, and John Conway. Todd Durgan from Seattle, has also volunteered his services if there is a change in the schedule. There will be a free lunch at noon for all participants catered by Wahoo’s Fish Tacos.

Sunday, March 25th
Sunday will be the tournament. We are limiting the amount of participants to 350 competitors. We want our event to run smoothly and in a timely manner. The entry fees will be low with no spectator fees. We do this to make the event more affordable for families. We will have gift bags for all competitors that will include free event t shirts. fresh fruit, waters, decals, and other gifts for our kids. Every hour there will be a Free Raffle as we give away skateboards and bicycles to our participants. The tournament will be held at Estancia High School in Costa Mesa, CA. this year.

This will be the 12th year we have hosted this event. We took last year off and by coincidence it was a good year to do this because I was ill. During my recovery Barbara and our team realized how important it is to have this tournament and not only help the children of Royal Family Kids but our martial arts community as well. This event has brought so many of us together by giving us the chance to work together to do a very good thing.

The offers of support from around the world has just been fantastic. Eddie Downey is bringing over 70 people from Ireland. David Coppock is bringing his team form Colorado as is Eric Nepsky. Chauncy Emerine is coming in from Cheyenne, WY with some of his fine fighters. Our local school owners with David Brock, Ken Kellogg, Jesse Salinas, Mark Arnott. Abdul Latif Ferguson, The BKF, Bobby and Char Lawrence from Utah and many others insure us of a great event. The event starts Friday night March 23rd.

Please call the studio for more information (949) 645-0337.

Thank you to all who support in so many different ways.

Sincerly,

Bob and Barbara White
